CRAZINESS

Lots to show. My Irish twins were both 4 for about two weeks, Alli had her 5th birthday, Cokie came out for a visit, A close friend also came our for a visit, and Steevi turned 12. We went to the beach, ate some delicious grub at BB Kings, and acted like tourists downtown! We had a blast.

Gummer Turns 4!!

Brooklyn turned 4 on the 24th and got just as spoiled as the siblings before her! She wound up with a new bike, lots of dress up costumes, purses, butt loads of cash, hair ties for her hairy hair, and tons of other odds and ends. We ordered in Chinese food and ate Oreo cake all day. Wahoo!!! She loves her new bike and rides like and pro just like the older kids...not to mention she giggles constantly! Happy Birthday Gummer!

Ms. Marie

Steevi has been playing the alto saxophone for the past 2 years. She is the best in her class and was even asked by her teacher if she could join the 7th and 8th graders band. She was also told to move up to a size 3 reed which requires great control and skill, (grandpa Neilson didn't even get up to playing a size 3 reed in high school)!! She does a fantastic job with it and is a total natural when it comes to music and everything else she does. She is on the A honor roll and is a favorite amongst all of her teacher (7). We are so proud of Goosie and are a bit jealous of her intellectual abilities. Keep in mind she is still only 11 years old. Rock on Goosie Rock on!!!

ARE WE NOT TURTLEEEEEE ENOUGH FOR THE TURTLE CLUB???

We sure are!!! We found this little guy out by our pond and have now deemed him our NEW FAMILY PET. We believe that he is a Yellow Footed Tortoise. He is so cute and so nice. He lets us pet him and actually enjoys it...does he have a choice??!! He is a fantastic and graceful swimmer too! How do we know that he is a fantastic and graceful swimmer you ask... we filled a garbage can and the bathtub up with water and watched him!! By the way his name is IKE.

INTO THE MYSTIC

Well I don't understand how to run this blog site so therefore I don't enjoy blogging.

Not much is happening around these parts except for the fact that the kids are out for two weeks for Spring Break and are driving me insane! Seriously....insane. They are hopped up to the max since Cokie and Aunt Sis are flying out for 10 days and will be here tomorrow.

The weather here is crazy crazy crazy. It was 80 degrees yesterday and today below 30 with freezing rain. Super.

I was flashed the other day while driving. Pretty major stuff. I had to file a police report and the whole nine. There was another incident two days later but they couldn't match that guy to my case. I guess I was just lucky enough to get a random drive by. Totally tramatized and now I have anxiety every time I drive. Just what I always wanted!!

Well folks that is all you are going to get out of me for now so I hope this works!

First Timers

Well here we go fam dam! I am not much of a communicator but I figured since everyone else was doing it that I would hop on the bandwagon and give it a whirl.

As you may or may not know we have moved to Tennessee and are enjoying it immensely. It is quite the change going from gorgeous mountains and snow and living in the city to rolling hills, no mountains and having property and space.

The kids get to ride the bus to school and hate every minute of it!! Apparently the bus driver is ornery and yells a lot....sounds like home if you ask me!

Steevi is in middle school now and has 9 different classes. She has boat loads of homework each night and plays the saxophone.

Beau and Jessi like school but hate the fact they only have one recess and have to stay inside most of the time because it's so cold.

Alli and Brooklyn and best friends and can destroy the entire house in less than an hour. They are mini tornadoes wrapped in very cute little packages!! They are constantly changing clothes and love to run around in their swimming suits.

Jaremy and I just celebrated our 11 th Anniversary Saturday and took a nice trip into Nashville for dinner. How the time flies.

OK, So maybe we weren't turtleeee enough for the turtle club!

We had been packing and getting things ready to move into our new place, playing and loving up our new turtle, attending to Brooklyn's gash (she fell on a large shard of glass out back in the woods), that Alli had not been getting enough attention due to all the commotion. She was very mad indeed. She went from having one on one time with mom to and from school and lots in between to not much attention at all, Sorry Bibst. Anyway I was sitting in the front room taking a break from packing and Alli stuck her head in the sliding door and announced, "The turtle is gone". Not thinking about it too much I simply said, "no it isn't Bibst". Well I made it out to the deck about 4 hours later to discover that YES the turtle was gone. Alli had opened the cage and helped our little friend along his way. Coincidence ?? I think not!! Jare and I looked and scowered and never did find our beloved friend. However, we did find this HUGE spider hanging out with it's lovely little egg sack only a few yard from our deck. JACKPOT!!

And to finish off the story, this happened the morning of the disappearance or our turtle friend, I had gone in to take a shower and was finishing up to hop in the shower and Alli slid a piece of paper under the door. I hollered out and asked what it was (i knew) and Alli simply stated, "A BUTT". She was so mad at me for not paying enough attention to her that she drew me a picture of a butt and let our turtle go.

Tornados???

We were unaware that there were tornados in Tennessee. It was a super dark day a week or two ago so I decided to check the weather channel. I put in our zip code and it started flashing a huge red warning. Never having experienced this before we got loaded up and headed out to get somewhere safe. After the storm calmed and we returned home I ran out to pick up a few things for Easter the next day. I got into the suburban and went on my merry way. As I was coming down the hill I saw Jaremy at the T in the road and figured he was just taking garbage to the dump. I pulled in and soon after he pulled in. I notice he had a few kids but when I walked up to the truck little heads started popping up everywhere. There had been another tornado warning while I was out and since I was gone with the family vehicle he had loaded everyone up in the truck. Super funny...after the fact.
